For most shindigs at Christmas, a smart casual outfit would be best. This is good because there are so many things you can pull out of your wardrobe to wear. But then it’s bad for the same reason it gives you so many options to think, what should I wear tonight?
Here is a simple smart casual outfit that you can wear.

You should already have a good pair of shoes, so you’ll want to make sure they’re in tip-top condition.
Polish them up and make sure they are looking good. If your shoes aren’t looking their best, do yourself a favor and buy yourself an early Christmas gift.
Smart shoes are the way to go. While a pair of oxfords or derby shoes are always smart, brogues will add some edge to the look.

When it comes to your office Christmas party, since it’s winter, you’ll probably want to wrap up. But how do you do it in style?
An overcoat is a great item to have because they are versatile and very timeless. If you don’t already have one, choose a black, gray or navy option, or for a different look, a camel coat is a very stylish option.

A good grooming regime should already be adopted, but if it isn’t, get this right for the party. Get your hair cut in good time, but not too early, a week before the day, and style it as you like.
Shave at night, or if you have facial hair, make sure it’s grown out, choose a scent, and put it on before you go out.
Don’t forget things like face scrubs, moisturizers, and under-eye products. These will not only make you look better but will also give you that all important confidence.

If you’re really unsure what to wear, stick to the classics. A dark pair of jeans or trousers will look great with a dress shirt, jumper for layering, a clean pair of shoes and a smart jacket.
Choose a color that you wouldn’t wear to the office, shades of blue and even light pink would work well here.
Since it’s cold outside, you can layer the shirt with a jumper on top. Choose a color that goes well with your shirt; staple colors like gray, navy, and black are easy choices.
Coming to the jacket, you can go for a blazer to match the shirt and/or jumper you are wearing.
Don’t forget the shoes, which should be clean.
