Men’s Winter Fashion Outfit
Winter has come, but what do you wear?
I’ve decided to showcase all my winter fashion outfits together in one easy to see and read post.
You should be able to get some ideas about some of the must-have clothes for this season that will keep you warm and stylish.
It’s time for winter coats, cozy knits, dark denim, sweatshirts, layering and more. Since it’s time to wrap up warm, casual outfits are the norm. That doesn’t mean you can’t look smart in your everyday fashion choices.
Winter gives plenty of time to get ready, starting with the office Christmas party and New Year’s Eve in December, or going out on Valentine’s Day in February. There’s no excuse for not looking sharp.
When it comes to winters, outfits are easy enough to wear. Here’s what I’m wearing this winter.
Shearing jackets are in trend
One of the trends I loved this winter has been the return of the shearling jacket . If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, it’s fluffy and woolly outerwear that looks really warm and fuzzy.
Well they’re back, and they’ve never looked better. I’ve rounded up the best shearling jackets you can buy, and this one is a great choice.
They are a versatile jacket, and can be worn on their own, or as an extra layer when it gets really cold out.
From sheepskin to faux fur, if you’re looking to jump on a trend this season, this is it.
Embrace the Camel Overcoat Trend
What can I say about the camel overcoat trend that I’ve never said before? I love it, and have loved it for the past few winters.
If you haven’t jumped on it yet, you really should think about it. It works great for smart casual outfits, and you can pair it with staple colors and look the part.
In this outfit, I have paired it with navy chinos and a gray roll neck jumper.
Navy blue overcoat with sweatshirt layering
One of my latest additions to my winter wardrobe has been my navy blue overcoat . I wanted something a little smarter than the camel color, and the navy main color was the perfect choice.
I paired it with a gray sweatshirt from ARKET which is a high quality loop back material, and perfect for this season.
For my lower half, I wore a pair of navy chinos, which gave the outfit a slightly tonal look.
gray sweatshirt for gray weather
As already mentioned in the previous outfit, I have this gray sweatshirt from ARKET. I love a color that’s timeless and can be paired with virtually anything.
The weather is mild enough to wear it when you’re relaxing or lounging inside (but I do take pictures outside!).
Wrapping Up With a Scarf and Layering
When it gets really cold, it’s time to put a scarf on everything. I love scarves, there are so many different varieties that you can get and wear.
This one’s from Barbour, and features a check pattern with shades of brown.
It’s all about layering when the temperature drops too low. In this I have worn a white shirt, black jumper and finished it off with a camel overcoat.
layering a shirt with a jumper
Sometimes it’s chilly, but you can get away with wearing a nice jumper if you layer it with a shirt. I have a good quality black jumper here that I love, made of cashmere .
It’s black in color, and works well with a white shirt under it for layering.
For the bottom half I’ve once again worn dark denim, which is one of my favorite washes and perfect for winter.
Layering a Hoodie with an Overcoat
For something a little more interesting, layering a hoodie with an overcoat is an interesting outfit choice. It combines a hoodie, which is generally seen as a very casual item, with an overcoat, a smart piece of outerwear.
If you really like hoodies, I think this is one way to dress them up for winter. As long as you get the right colour, I think it can work.
I’ve gone for a simple black and camel color palette.
The black hoodie goes with a pair of jeans, and my black and white Converse.
Layering a Cashmere Jumper With a Leather Jacket
Another type of jacket that you can wear in winter is a leather jacket . A winter coat gives you bulk, an overcoat is smart, but if you want an edgy jacket for the cold, a leather jacket is a great option.
The temperature is still low, so you’ll need to wear layers for the rest of your outfit. I’ve gone for a red cashmere sweater, with a T-shirt underneath that you can’t see through.
For the bottom half, I wore black jeans with black shoes to keep the outfit on the right side of smart casual.
Layering a leather jacket with a sweatshirt
For a more laid back look, you can pair a leather jacket with something more casual. I have gone for the pastel pink color sweatshirt here.
For the lower half I’ve gone for a loose fit of denim with an all black pair of trainers.
roll neck for winter
A Roll Neck Jumper This is one of my go-to options when I want to wear something smart in winters. They’re something I’ve been wearing for a good few years now, and I’ve bought several in different colors over the years.
For this look I have paired my fine wool roll neck in off white with my camel coat.
Blazer and white shirt for a smart casual option
If you’re going out and want a smart option with just a little casual edge, a white shirt with a blazer is a great option.
I am wearing this blazer from Mango Man which is navy in color and has a subtle check pattern on it. I paired it with a white shirt which gives a really nice smart casual look.
For the bottom half of my style I went for a slim fit pair of dark wash denim.
Instead of wearing suit trousers or going for a different look, denim gives it a more edgy style, which is the thing of summer style.
I could have added an extra layer with my navy overcoat if I wanted to, but it wasn’t too cold that day.
sweating it out to relax at home
There’s no doubt that during the winter some time will be spent relaxing indoors. Chilling over Christmas or spending more time indoors to avoid inclement weather.
For the most comfortable clothes to wear at home, you can’t look past the hoodie and joggers combo.
I love H&M’s Blank Staples collection, I’ve bought quite a few of them in the recent past.
Joggers combined with a hoodie make for the ultimate cozy sweats option, perfect for keeping warm and relaxing at home.
Wearing a Hoodie for Casual Sporty Attire
Last up I’ve added a more sporty outfit to the line up. Sometimes you may want to wear something more comfortable. Whether it’s getting in a little winter exercise or just relaxing, there’s always a time for it.
I have paired a hoodie with both tracksuit bottoms from Adidas. These are very easy to wear, and a perfect choice for being active.

And there you have it, stylish ideas for your winter wear this season.
It doesn’t matter if you’re going for a smart, smart casual or relaxed style, there are tons of ideas. Incorporate some of these pieces into your wardrobe that will last for a few winters to come.
